As you can see from the picture, this development is a stunning residential plot which we had great pleasure working on. Five large bedrooms, four bathrooms and stunning panoramic south facing views. Initially we installed a builders supply and made a temporary connection to the caravan for the clients to live in whilst the build took place.
We were asked to install wiring for the renewable, Air Source Heat Pump installation, all accessories, switches and sockets were polished chrome, there were over 130 down lighters throughout, 25% of which were energy efficient and part L compliant. We also installed L.E.D shower downlighters in the master en- suite.
We were approached here by the client who wanted to re vitalise the entrance to the Village Hall. The brief was to provide elegant lighting inside, to re wire and re configure the external lighting, to provide a 2 kW door heater on the entrance and to re locate an existing consumer unit supplying the electric heating in the hall.
The job was stripped out, Low voltage lighting and PIR lighting installed and commissioned within two days and the client is very pleased with the end result.
Our client here requested a 4KW system to maximise payments from the governments Feed in Tariffs. Our client did not want to see the solar panels from the front elevation so we have designed the system working with a west facing roof. This meant we needed to use a specific SMA 3300 inverter.
This extension doubled the size of the property, the existing kitchen was moved, new utility, two en-suite bedrooms also additional family and breakfast rooms. SAL Electrical Ltd wired power outlets a mixture of low voltage and L.E.D lighting throughout, relocated the consumer unit, upgraded earthing , installed specified heat and smoke detection throughout.
We were approached by the client here with a barn conversion which was some distance from the grid supply network. The client decided to install an off grid supply comprising a silent running generator, two inverters and 24 2v batteries, all shown below. We were to design the electrical installation with this in mind.
The hybrid system installed is designed to be added to in the future with a variety of renewable sources such as a solar PV array or a wind turbine. SAL Electrical LTD installed energy efficient L.E.D lighting throughout whilst also being sympathetic towards the charm of the old barn choosing accessories to suit. The client has saved thousands of pounds from the cost of moving the grid network closer and now has funds available to install solar PV on the south facing roof….something SAL Electrical Ltd will be looking forward to installing later in the year. Our client can then boost a smaller carbon footprint, look forward to reduced generator times(as little as 1 hour per week), benefit hugely from feed in tariff payments for the next 24 years whilst reducing the harm to the environment.
Here we were approached with an industrial unit with a 3-phase supply, our client wanted two extensions wiring. The first, shown above was a meeting room/ office area, SAL Electrical LTD installed stylish power, data and lighting points throughout to meet our clients sophisticated desired finish. The second a high level extension to the main unit at the side of the building, high level lighting was installed internally and externally also power outlets installed in a high impact conduit.
